adb shell cmd package set-home-activity "ch.deletescape.lawnchair.plah"
And Afteradb reboot
STEP 5
after the phone turns on after the last adb command, we install the 4 apk in order
I REPEAT: FOLLOW THE CORRECT ORDER
You will find a zip at this address:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/ej6acz9xyq636sm/Huawei.zip/file
(already used on other sites such as AndroidWorld x SmartWorld )
apk affidabili e senza virus, ricordo ancora peò di installarli nell’ordine che segue:
1) 001-Google Play services-com.google.android.gms-1…apk
after install

STEP 9
download the 2accounts application from the aurora store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.excelliance.multiaccount&hl=en_US
STEP 10 – LAST STEP
Download Google photo from the aurora store or gmail THEN enter 2accounts and clone the application you are interested in.
Finally, use the cloned one by connecting to your Google account.
waiting for a real unlock of the phone with root, in this way I can use it at 90% compared to what I expected (sigh no pokemon go …)
Were you able to use and follow the guide up to here?
If you found it useful, please support me at the link below with a paypal donation, thanks 🙂
DO YOU NEED HELP WITH THE PROCEDURE?
UPDATE 07/08/2020
Many have asked me why once you start Google Photo or Gmail you have problems or are extremely slow.
-SOLUTION
To run the applications first you download from aurora store, then clone them with 2accounts and finally use the copy of the application, not the original one.
Then create, again from 2accounts (or similar apps that clone) the shortcut to add to the home and use that.
ONLY WORKS ON ANDROID 10
(maybe even for other blocked smartphones but you will have to try by changing the apk with those for android 9)
APK LIST NOT WORKING WITH THIS METHOD (02/01/2021)
– Pokemon go-> no solution for now
– Gdrive-> solution: use the web app, maybe using crhome to install a shortcut on the home page
– Sanpaolo reward ->no solution (but San paolo mobile bank works ..)
– Google fi -> no solution for now
– Cloudfare 1.1.1.1-> unverified, it looks like it crashes with a fatal error
(30/09/2020) ADDED THE ENGLISH VERSION
(this version)
(02/01/2021) Updated list of apps that don’t work
(02/01/2021) removed 2 commands from the POINT 1 debloat that created confusion by removing the dialer and file manager:adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.android.contacts
you can run these commands to delete the aforementioned apps but then you have to install an alternative dialer and file manager from the Aurora Store.
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.hmct.FileManager.Activity
(05/01/2021) The guide also works on Hisense A7 and probably also with Hisense A7CC as soon as it comes out
(15/01/2021) Ok small update, I only added my IBAN for those who didn’t PayPal. In the meantime I am testing as a personal device the Hisense A6L….
(25/01/2021) added links to the Chinese guide along with Reddit links for Chinese friends 🙂
(03/04/2021) added link to APKMirror for Aurora Store
(10/04/2021) Embedded video guide directed and recorded entirely by Matteo Accardi on YouTube
After I followed these instructions and attempted to find a dialer it seemed to be missing. I have no way of making phone calls. How do we get the dialer application in order to make phone calls?
This allows you to re-enable all apps and follow the updated guide, or install an alternate dialer and file manager without bloatware.
To enable only the two apps that you talk use from cmd the following commands:
adb shell pm enable com.android.hplayer
adb shell pm enable com.android.browser
adb shell pm enable com.android.calendar
adb shell pm enable com.android.contacts
adb shell pm enable com.android.firewall
adb shell pm enable com.android.hplayer
adb shell pm enable com.android.providers.downloads.ui
adb shell pm enable com.android.sos
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.account
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.antivirus
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.assist
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.einklauncher.plugin.wechat
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.FileManager.Activity
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.imageedit
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.mobileclear
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.questionnaire
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.theme
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.voiceassist
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.voicetranslate
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.music
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.hmctmanual
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.userexperienceprogram
adb shell pm enable com.tencent.soter.soterserver
adb shell pm enable org.hapjs.mockup
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.jdreader

adb shell pm enable com.hmct.einklauncher.plugin.wechat
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.voiceassist
adb shell pm enable com.hmct.ftmode

adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.hmct.ftmode
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.hmct.semantic.analysis
Sorry, Dax, I had the same issue but didn’t get what you mean here. You provided two pieces of script. Do you mean to get the original dialler we have to run both? Or just the first one?
At first, the guide was to disable the dialer and file manager as well as other useless apps. Since many saw the phone app disappear I decided to update the guide and for those who should follow it now, it finds itself with the script (step 1) already updated without needing to install the alternative dialer. I hope I have answered, if you follow the guide step by step the dialer will no longer be disabled unless you decide it yourself 😉
Thank you dax!
In the Youtube video the “Chinese” apps were uninstalled after the ADB debloat commands were run. After running the debloat procedure I could not uninstall any of the Hisense apps from my A5Pro CC. I got the following error message after each command:
error: device unauthorized.
This adb server’s $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set
Try ‘adb kill-server’ if that seems wrong.
Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device.
you can try to run the above command and proceed with the configuration of adb: run the command
adb kill-server
then reconnect the smartphone to the pc and confirm on the dialog box. you can use the guide you find at point 0

Thanks for the write-up. I followed your instructions and the original ones for the Huawei mobile and I am able to get a system that thinks it has Gapps working. So no more nag boxes in apps dependent on Gapps. Even Google Maps is working.
However, Play Store continues to have the “error retrieving information from server df-dferh-01”. I tried clearing the cache and storage. But no luck.
Did anyone else stumble onto this? Does anyone know a workaround?
Same issue for me
you say you followed the guide and also another one on Huawei. maybe I didn’t understand the comment but the error comes from the original app using the cloned one you should fix. unless you followed another guide in that case you could put the link?thanks so I get an idea and maybe you can improve everything 😉
I use your instructions for hisense A5pro CC 6/128 and all the apps are thinking there’s gapps installed on my phone and it’s great. But PlayMarket continuously got “error retrieving information from server df-dferh-01”. Another huge problem is with Google Keep. This app do not starts and this app is not listed in 2Acciunts so I can’t make a clone.
Good evening, have you tried using google play to download apps?to download apps you need to use auroraStore non play store. to buy books is fine play store but for apps use aurora store.finally for google jeep check again on 2accounts, as soon as you install an app you do not see immediately and you have to enter and exit (app bug), I hope to have been useful, then if it does not work google keep I add it to the not working apps. let me know 🙂
As I mention above – Google Play Store does not work on my phone and I can use only Aurora. Again – Google Keep app do not appear in 2accounts.
yes it is corrected like this, Google playStore only works if you cloned it (and only the cloned one works) and not to install the apps. For that you have to use AuroraStore. finally I tried to install Google keep notes myself and found it under the letter ‘K’ in 2accoutns, finally I loged in and had no problem using it. I can’t tell you what your problem is I don’t have enough data to help you, I’m sorry
Forgive me but what the point in having google play store, if you can’t install apps with it 🙂
Apologies for my ignorance.
Kind regards
Connor
No problem :). I used it to buy comics or books, or to pay for apps that I then downloaded from autoraStore
Hisense A5 Pro CC/Win10 failed at STEP 4:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>adb shell cmd package set-home-activity “ch.deletescape.lawnchair.plah”
Error: Failed to set default home.
I followed step by step… In step 2, are we just supposed to download aurora store on our PC at the link without doing anything with the download, file named ‘download.php’? Like move it to the Minimal ADB and Fastboot dir or install something?
Thanks,
Herrero
Hello, in order to continue with the guide, points 2 and 3 download 2 apk and the procedure must be performed with your smartphone, then to be installed on Android, not on the PC
I hope I have dispelled all your doubts
Hello Dax, thank you so much for your help. I just bought an A5 Pro and I am worried about security/privacy of the device. I am wondering whether I should resell it and get the qualcomm A5. Do you have any advice or opinion on this. Or do you think there should be a root for the Pro version sometime soon?
Thank you
You are welcome, mostly I would not worry too much about the privacy security issue of the device. of course the apps thatv track are boring and drain the battery. apart from that also in Europe many and not all apps track users, such as Facebook, free-to-play games, internet browser games, gmail or maps. If I can recommend undevice I would tell you to use /compare a Hisense A6L if you have a chance.supports GAAPS natively just install them as an apk and you should not use the trick described in the guide. other than the a5 PRO is fine 😉
finally I don’t think the root will ever come out for devices with unisoc type soc, at least in the short and medium term, especially with android 10 up.
Greetings
Grazie mille Dax!
Hi dax, thanks for writing this tip collection. It helps a lot. Except the same missing dialler issue I shared with Todd (still confused with which script you want us to run to retreive the original dialler), I also found my PC still doesn’t recognise the phone. The ‘Safely remove hardware’ can see it’s plugged in but can’t see it in File explorer or access its storage there? Any tips?
Another question, after finishing these steps, the original app grouping all disappeared. Now how do we organise them into customised folders?
Yes, after installing an alternate launcher the settings such as background or folders compared to the original launcher have changed ( but do not be lost in case you want to restore the original launcher you would have them again where you left them). To create a new folder on Lawnchair I think just take an icon of any app and holding it with your finger you can move and moving it over another app will create the folder with the two apps inside
Hi dax, thanks heaps! I do like the original launcher better and wonder if it is possible to restore it without losing the freedom of using all other GFS dependant apps?
thank you very much indeed. 🙂 in any case to enable only the factory launcher just follow the guide I published here:
Set Hisense A5PRO CC original default launcher – booksebook
finally there are still various tips on the site, what I can recommend you is to see the few posts with the various tricks described, maybe you find one that can be useful to you. Grazie ancora 🙂
Another issue, it seems Google map and Gmail worked with Aurora app + 2nd Account, but Google calendar, once was downloaded from Aurora, it can’t be found in 2nd Account. The original one doesn’t allow you to log in to see your own schedule?
It seems to be a bug of 2Accounts: as soon as you install a new app and want to duplicate it you don’t find it to duplicate, but if you try to go out and re-enter 2Accounts you should see it. a note aside, the apps must be installed by AuroraStore and not by the PlayStore, as you say. Finally all this workaround because Google apps are blocked system side but I can’t tell you the specific reason
if you followed the guide before you changed it, and you no longer have the phone icon throws from adb this command:
this will help you set up your phone’s app and contacts icon. Finally, for your PC, I don’t know what to tell you other than to install the right drivers, but I can’t tell you better than that. Finally I hope I have answered all your questions here and there. 🙂
Thanks a lot dax for your kindness and patience. I’ll make a second donation for your great tips. I only have that new question above re restoring the original launcher.
I hope to have responded effectively, in case you have any doubts write as well and I will respond as soon as possible even without further donations. So, as I know the answer, I will 🙂
Thank you for writing up this guide. I successfully followed your instructions to install apps from Aurora store and login my Google account in these apps on my newly bought Hisense A7. Do you mind if I write a medium post in Chinese based on your post? I’ll still include your PayPal donation information in case anyone also find this guide useful to them.
I’m glad it was useful to you. also thank you for your proposal. The Internet is a fairly free place but no one blocks you from sharing your Experience in Chinese, I am very grateful for your proposal and of course I agree 🙂 later if you share the url of your post/blog I add it to my guide
Hi Dax. I’m interested in buying a Hinsense A5 CC Pro, but I’ve some doubts because of missing Google Play Store. With your instruction here, it is possible to install Google Play, right? What about the Apps who need the Google Play Service (such as Strava), are they running thereafter properly? And also Google Apps (Maps, Calendar..) are working? Would be great. Thanks a lot for your reply, David.
good evening, I apologize for the delay in replying. meanwhile thank you for appreciating my work 🙂 to answer your question instead I can tell you that with this method many apps that need google work but the overall experience is very good but not great. also not so much a problem of gapps, but the phone has a very low resolution, in my opinion the real flaw is in its uniqueity: the color e-ink panel. at this time I use Hisense A6l with total satisfaction.
obviously the phone is a bomb and I was very happy to have it but at the same time the fact of not having gapps, root (for now although it is expected perhaps in the future), the low resolution, and the granite effect of the screen (due to the low resolution) made me desist. I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t tell you that, then of course I don’t want to block your enthusiasm because the phone is very good 🙂
Thanks a lot for your reply and your opinion to the color eink version. You didn’t block my enthusiasm – and while looking for some reviews to the Hisense A6l, I just found another work around to install GP (scroll down a little for step by step information): https://www.reddit.com/r/eink/comments/hn5ckq/just_got_the_hisense_a6l/
the gapps on Hisense at 6l install without difficulty, no workarounds install and work smoothly, by now the 6l is my main phone 😉
Thank you so much for this guide!! It got me up and running and almost everything works for me!
However I’m still having an issue with google maps. When I download Maps from Aurora, it is loading for a bit, then it crashes. So then I tried to clone the app, and it immediately crashes.
Any ideas?
Note: What’s weird is that I initially had google maps working after I first cloned it. It even gave me proper navigation. I have tried redownloading Maps, deleting & recreating the cloned version, but nothing is working. Also, currently Google Photos works properly through a cloned version, so it’s weird one works and not the other.
Thanks again for your help!
in fact it is very strange, Google Maps works without login or if you want to access your account use the cloned version which should not crash. what I can tell you is to delete the clone cache data, then the clone app, then delete all the original Google Maps data, uninstall the app and finally go to the Aurora Store and re-download it. let me know if you can make it work 😉
Thanks for these instructions. I was able to install most of the apps.
But I am facing couple of issues, if someone can provide solutions I would appreciate:
For the second point: notifications I can tell you to follow a guide that I wrote right on notifications, I leave you the link: https://www.booksebook.it/?p=253&lang=en
For the first point instead :GPS, try to enable all permissions to Google apps including maps.me or gmaps as well as Google services
do you have problem with google map not find current location, i have that error.
when i go to location setting turn on the location permissin but not work
no problem, to have access to the GPS location, you can go to the app settings, and search for Google and then give each app all the permess it needs (including that of using GPS). done that you shouldn’t have any problem
Hi Dax
thanks for sharing
I just got a7cc but I have the same problem that location in google maps doesn’t work.
I have tried to allow app permission already(Google maps and GSF) but result is still the same.
it should work I can’t try not having the Hisense A7CC I can’t test. alternatively I recommend Here or tomtom go
Sir,
Thanks a lot, now I can use youtub, but I can’t use chrome. When I open chrome, the screen becom blank.
thank you 🙂 In any case, try installing an old browser version or trying MS Edge. you can try to uninstall the original app then re-heat it and finally without opening it, clone it and use the cloned version
Hi dax,
I just received my new Hisense A7 CC. Now I’m stucked at step 2 and step 3.
Where should I install Aurora Store and Lawnchair 2? In my old android phone or in the new Hisense A7 CC?
The link of Aurora Store (step 2) can’t be opened in my laptop chrome browser.
welcome to you, it seems that the site is down, use this link.
Aurora Store (fdroid version) 4.0.2 APK Download by Aurora OSS – APKMirror
Aurora Store and Lawnchair 2 you need to install them on your Hisense A7 CC. Greetings
Thanks for the link. Now it works. I also found their Telegram group which is useful for latest update and support.
The new phone is great. A comfort view for your eyes. Lots of power thanks to its big mAh and quick brightness on/off
Thank you for this well explained guide! Will this work for the regular a5? I just want to debloat/get rid of tracker apps, I do not need google services so will skip root and installing gapps. Also is it recommended to update software first for the intention of just debloating? As I’ve heard some people have had issues after the recent update.
If you have to execute only the debloat you can execute the commands listed at the step 1, without any problem. If you encounter any malfunctions re-enable what you have disabled since in fact it is only a matter of enabling and / or disabling. nothing is uninstalled. in addition, this procedure does not invalidate anything so you will receive updates, especially since the root is not executed.
so i would recommend you do the updates both before and after debloat
“error: no devices/emulators found” after
adb shell

Follow guide https://www.booksebook.it/?p=255&lang=en
Download and install
Connect A5 pro to PC as
File Transfer(MTP)
. I can see the folder of A5 pro in PCadb devices
List of devices attached

* daemon started successfully
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.android.hplayer

Are you sure you enabled usb debugging in developer options on the phone?
Thank you. I wouldn’t have had a better answer
hi.. I bricked my A7 pro cc… any links to unbrick? thank you
How you brick it?
Anyway look at this official forum
http://fans.hisense.com/search.php?mod=forum&searchid=75&orderby=lastpost&ascdesc=desc&searchsubmit=yes&kw=A7&mobile=2
Does this method apply to the reader – Hisense Touch? Thanks a lot!
The guide is not dangerous and if you know what you are doing it will surely be fine even for the model you say.in the end I remember that this is a scam, a trick not a real root procedure then reversible to 100×100 restoring the mobile. Can you try to let us know 🙂
I have a brand new hisense A7, GPS location can’t work without com.tencent.android.location
Sup, will this work for Hisense a9 🙂
Very likely it will work, also if I understand correctly this a9 will have a snapdragon so it will be easier (I guess) to get root, but maybe on this last point I’m wrong.
I’m trying this on an A9 right now, and I keep running into an error where Google won’t let me sign in with my Google account on step 7. The error says my username and password are wrong. I’ve repeatedly tried them, and I know they are correct. I’ve logged into a browser on my computer just to be sure. Do you have any kind of fix for this?
Same problem. Someone have a solution?
same problem and sad that “Hisense A9” does not offer many option to solve google login problem.
I’m having trouble with syncing with the Google account (for calendar & contacts). I can set up the account and it sync the contact, but not the calendar for some reason. I get “sync is currently having to experience problems. It will be back shortly”.
The service is definitely NOT down, as I can see it on my other devices no problem.
Any ideas what the problem could be or what else to try?
I am reading about SMS recieving problems in the A5pro CC
it is true?
I have problems with SMS, mostly receiving but also sometimes sending.
Thank you so much for giving support to us, “rare” people who like to care our eyes despite having to renounce to some Google functionalities. Which is the adb command to disable iFly (last app just before minute 10′ of the video)?
I just found it out. In phone folder /Internal Storage/Android/data we can see the com.* name to add to adb command. But given that you haven’t included it in your guide, do you recommend to uninstall it?
Also do you recommend to uninstall the “App Store”? (icon with a curve)
Hi. My Hisense A5 came already with Gapps and 2accounts installed by the vendor.
As he advised me that I would loss his custom firmware if I ever reset the phone, I’ve searched how to do a backup. I’ve done mine (though not tested the restore) following these instructions. Here’s the link for those who want to ensure his firmware after following Dax guide.
https://elandroidefeliz.com/crear-una-copia-seguridad-android-desde-pc-sin-root-adb/
The process is very simple if you already have adb. No root required.
I apologize for so many questions. I hope this is my last one.
Doing some research in the internet, I’ve found out microG as a copy of Google Services for phones not compatible with Google. Has anyone tried it? Does it work after installing Gapps and 2accounts recommended in Dax guide?
Finally I’ve found an answer. In order to work with microG, the phone has to support Signature Spoofing, which Hisense A5 doesn’t, so it won’t work with it.
Hi, I just bought the A9 and this method doesn’t work to install the GAPPs. Could you kindly share what needs to be done on the A9. Thanks a ton!
I would be willing to pay $100 or similar to get a similar guide that would work on the A9. I’m assuming it’s because it’s android 11 and the guide was for Android 10?
I dont know why but my A7cc always tell me “wrong password” when I log in GG accounts, i swear i type the correct one T__T. Any ideas every body, plz help
Same happens to me with my Hisense A5 CC Pro.
It started to happen after I reinstalled 2accounts, as Google Play downloads started to get frozen before reaching 100%. And the freezing downloads issue started to happen since I installed Vanced, which is based on microG (if I remember well, I read time ago that microG is incompatible with GApps, but I was overconfident).
Still trying to find out a way to solve it, if I don’t find answers in the internet I will reinstall GApps following Mateo’s instructions here.
Logging into Google no longer seems possible.
They disable less secure login in May, not sure how to work around it.
I started using the A5 in September and was able to login in the gmail phone account. But couldn’t synchronize many of the services (like Contacts, Maps Chronology and Maps API for third party apps, Keep…). But I was able to install apps from Google Play by using 2accounts.
PhungPhuong I think refers to a worse issue, which is not being able to login google account, so he can’t even login and use Google Play from 2accounts.
thank you for your sharing! It really helps
may I ask that after this step”STEP 4
set as the default lawnchair laucher via ADB with the following command:
adb shell cmd package set-home-activity "ch.deletescape.lawnchair.plah"
And After
adb reboot
”my default laucher changed and how could I get it back……
awwww I got it!!Nothing could express my gratitude!Thank you!
Thanks to you, happy to have been useful
Hi bro,
Is there anyway to login Google Account now? I see many people has problems with wrong password and can not login after install 4th app.
Hi @dax,
I have the exact same issue on my A7 I’ve just bought : I can’t connect to my Google Account and I’m stuck after having installed the 4 apps… any help would be nice 😉
Mine got the same issue too. My A7 keep reject my login info. I could bypass those messages by creating new google account. Now I got another issue when I open cloned Google Play Store, keep asking for login, cant get pass that step. Any ideas?
I have the same problem but I was able to log in using ‘google admin’ within the 2Accounts environment. It can be used for adding multiple accounts as well. All the emulated google apps will then work apart from contacts. Account settings can be adapted later on with the emulated google app. For adding a google account on the phone itself I think the solution lies in forcing permissions which are overruled by the OS. Maybe then google admin (or even other google apps) will work directly ..
Uninstall the Google account manager first and replace it with the latest version via package installer (web apk)
Hey there. What version exactly? Tried the latest, 7.1.2, but got a white screen with only “Add an account” written to it. Thanks a lot in advance!
Yes I know but you need to use the google admin app for adding accounts and it will only work in 2accounts. Adding accounts on the phone directly does not work because of the missing gsf id. Google restricted login on unregistdred devices recently. I was able to generate a gsf id with my pc but the question is if it is possible to add it to the phone. There might be an adb command for this.. Once the phone has a gsf id you can register with google and normal login as well as running google apps might work then.
So to clarify, you have to clone the ‘Google admin’ app first. Open the cloned version and add your gmail account here. It will close automatically but the added account will appear when starting other cloned Google apps later on. By repeating the process you can add multiple accounts. I’ve added more elaborate comments underneath the Youtube video (on the Youtube webpage itself).
Hello everyone, I can’t install file 006 modagain1gsm. I use Hisense a6, with android 8.1.0 . I think apk file not fit Android 8. Someone have file modagain1gsm for Android 8? I find on the internet but not have results. Thanks
This info seems to be outdated as of the Google updates to remove access for less secure apps in May 2022. Instead, it gives us an “incorrect login” error. If you can provide more updated versions of the Google apps for this install process, that might be all we need. Thanks so much for the help!
Hi Dax, I have installed all the 7 APKs and tried to sign in to my google account with the correct log in details and it keeps on saying account not recognised, is there a work around for this? Thank you
